What You’ll Do
As a Web Developer, your primary responsibilities will include:
· Design and Develop: Create custom WordPress themes, plugins, and solutions, as well as work with other CMS platforms to build high-quality, user-friendly websites.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a technically skilled Web Developer with a strong foundation in web technologies and a proven ability to deliver high-performing, scalable, and maintainable solutions. The ideal candidate will possess the following technical expertise:
Core Technical Skills:
- WordPress Development: Experience in creating custom themes, plugins, and widgets, with a deep understanding of the WordPress core, hooks, and APIs.
- CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with other CMS platforms such as Drupal, Joomla, or Shopify, including theme customization and API integrations.
- Front-End Technologies: High Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3
- Back-End Development: Expertise in PHP development along with experience in database design and management using MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Version Control: Knowledge of Git for version control, including branching, merging, and managing pull requests in collaborative environments.
- Performance Optimization: Demonstrated ability to optimize web performance through techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, asset minification, and server-side optimizations using caching tools.
- Web Standards: In-depth understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and best practices for on-page SEO to ensure inclusive and search-friendly websites.
- Debugging and Testing: Proficiency in debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) and experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular for building dynamic, responsive UIs.
- Backend experience with object-oriented programming and MVC architecture
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development workflows.
